Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy
What is hypnosis?
Rather than a mere stage show gimmick, hypnosis is actually a naturally occurring state that affects everyone of us many times a day. When you are watching an enjoyable movie, for example, you are likely to be in an altered state called a hypnotic trance. In this state of hypnosis you are more easily able to access your unconscious mind. The unconscious is the most powerful of the two and directs most of our behaviour. I work with clients on a wide range of issues, for example giving up smoking; being confident at job interviews and public speaking; overcoming phobias; letting go of anxiety and depression; managing stressful situations; moving through change of life circumstances; dealing with anger or grief; improving sleep patterns. Talk to me about what you want to change, to see how hypnotherapy can help you. |
What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is any type of therapy undertaken while you are in a hypnotic state. Since the unconscious mind is far more responsive to suggestion while in a relaxed hypnotic state, there is a far greater chance to reach the desired result. |
