We all have stressors to deal with in our lives, from deadlines, to screaming kids, to financial pressures to health worries. The crucial factor is how we respond to these stressors.
Our body is designed to respond quickly and effectively to life-threatening situations such as being chased by a tiger. The body and mind responds, (fight-flight response), gets us out of a sticky situation, then we go back to to a more chilled out state (rest-digest). Unfortunately many of the modern-day stressors go on a for days or weeks, which is not just mentally and emotionally tiring, it also takes a toll on your body, as stress is very detrimental to the immune system, leaving us less able to fight infections and remain in good health.
Stress and Anxiety Clinical Trial
In 2019, I was one of two practitioners who conducted a stress and anxiety clinical trial, in conjunction with the University of Auckland. We were working to provide scientific data to backup up the years of success myself and other mBIT coaches across the world have had giving stressed clients a new lease of life.
With the stress so many people are under with the current COVID-19 pandemic, I am offering FREE 30-minute on-line coaching sessions and more coaching support packages via Koha (pay what you can afford).
