Participants wanted with Stress and Anxiety.

You are invited to apply to be a participant in a clinical trial measuring the effectiveness of a number of (drug-free) interventions for reducing stress and anxiety.

A team led by Professor Bruce Arroll at the University of Auckland, is running the clinical trial.

You must be 16 years or over, and be able to read and understand English, as well as have stress and/or anxiety, (assessed via a questionnaire) and be living, (or willing to travel to) West Auckland for a one-off session.

The study involves listening, talking, wearing a heart-rate monitor (on your ear lobe), using your imagination and filling in questionnaires, (pre, during and following the session).

All participants will receive an intervention of some sort.

There is no cost to participants and the entire session takes less than an hour.

If you are willing to be considered, please email Clive Teare at [email protected] to be sent an information pack.
